Store

Antiques

Country Store Antiques is located in the historic E. P. Jolly store building  in Edgerton, Virginia, five miles east of Lawrenceville.

The building was built some time in the mid to late 1800's and was operated as a general store until the death of Mr. Jolly in 1929.  After his death, his wife rented the building for a while, but later closed it for good in the 1930's.  The store was never opened again until July 1992, when Steve and Brenda Browder opened Country Store Antiques in the store building.

Since 1992, Country Store Antiques has been open every weekend and during the summer months.  There are items to satisfy almost every taste and budget.  There are many pieces of silver and glassware, as well as, furniture and collectibles.

Due to the quaint nature of the building, many tourists stop by just to visit and take pictures.  The Browders often open this store after hours should someone stop by and want to get inside.

Their motto is:

"If we're home, the store is open!"
